Roche Harbor

We enjoyed a nice afternoon walking around Friday Harbor doing a little shopping for a shrimp trap and some fishing gear and then had a beer at Herbs. For the night we tied to a private mooring buoy in Friday harbor for $9 a night to ensure the strong currents wouldn't upset our anchor in the relatively deep anchorage. After a lazy morning in Friday Harbor grocery shopping we made our way slowly toward Roche Harbor. Salmon fishing along the way we did no catching despite my new arsenal of fishing gear. Undecided were we'd anchor for the night we decided at the last minute to make a quick stop in Roche Harbor to gain internet access and ended up dropping the hook for the day. Such is the cruising life.Seaplane taxi by LightSpeed in Roche Harbor.
