Our day started early with us rolling out of bed in the predawn hours to prepare the boat for the final leg of the Baja Ha Ha. We are underway from Bahia Santa Maria to Cabo San Lucas, about 130 nautical miles to go. Weather is near prefect again today with sunny skies and 80 and water temperatures now at 80.7 degrees. Flying the spinnaker all day in light winds and doing lots of fishing but little catching. Hooked several fish, but our landing ratio is well below average. The last fish we had on the line was a beautiful Mahi Mahi which we nearly had in our landing net when it threw the hook. The Ha Ha has been great fun with lots of new friends. Paddled a stand up paddle board yesterday in the surf and got a few nice rides. Also, caught a few waves with some coaching from Jeff aboard s/v Mickaela. Had some great fun at the Baja Ha Ha beach party then an after party on s/v Michaela in the company of s/v Wings of Dawn. The previous night we hosted a party aboard LightSpeed with the crews of s/v Cat2Fold, s/v Drei and s/v Michalea.
