Welcome aboard! We're David and Kathy Kane, full-time 'cruisers' sailing the world aboard our Atlantic 42 catamaran LightSpeed. Back in 2005 we've sailed away from Seattle toward the warmer waters Mexico then jumped the puddle to the South Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Fiji and Vanuatu before arriving in Australia in 2008. From there we started afresh with a new boat in New York sailing the Western Caribbean to Colombia then the Panama canal north to Alaska. From Alaska we sailed back to Mexico and then jumped the puddle again in 2012. this time with a long stay visa for French Polynesia before sailing to the Cooks and Samoa. In 2013 we stared the year with a 2000 mile slog from Samoa back to the Marquesas and now we'll again head west to the Cooks, Nuie, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, the Solomons, and PNG. In 2014 we hope to go slow in Indonesia.
