Cyclone Evan predicted to make land fall in Samoa

'Evan' a soon to be Catagory 1 Tropical Cyclone is headed toward Samoa.  I sure hope the storm does a U-turn as projected.

Happily, we're tied to our new mooring here in Pago Pago, American Samoa.  Today, I made up a new mooring bridal from some 5/8" 12 plait line and made another trip to the fishing supply house to pickup three more big shackles.  So, now we're shackled to 42' long 5/8" bridal which is hooked to a 7/8" Shackle that's hooked to 55 feet of 5/8" chain with 3" long links connected to 40 feet of 1-1/8" chain with 6-3/4" long links shackled with another 7/8" shackle to a 4000+ pound concrete block.   I'm feeling pretty safe.  But, if the storm goes just another 80 miles to the East it's going to get real ugly with all sorts of stuff flying through the air.
