Arrived Rangiroa atoll, French Polynesia at 6:30AM this morning. Happy to have the anchor down, but sailing in close proximity to several coral atolls last night has us too tired to head to shore and too wired to take a nap.
93F and sunny with 86F water. Looking forward to some nice snorkeling drift dives through the passes here at Rangiroa. We heard from another anchored boat here, actually a guy we know named Lynn Stokes who is doing a delivery to San Diego, that the local cash machines are all empty after two cruise ships in a row flooded the island with tourists. Fresh baguettes will have to wait until we can get some cash and who knows how long that will take here at a remote atoll in the South Pacific.
That's it for now.
