Forward Harbor
Anchor: 50 28.9 N 125 45.2 W ~ 50' great holding.
Nice quiet night in Forward Harbor enjoyed in the company of m/v Empress and skipper Randy of Seattle. Today, we've made about 20nm so far and now battling strong adverse currents. Taking a side trip up Phillips Arm to possibly look for bears on the estuary of Phillips river. Last night we set the crab and prawn traps in Bessborough Bay and pulled zeros.
Any resorts or marinas along the way that were open in September are surely closed today on the first of October, so we need to start making some progress south.
