Dismasted 120' Cat

We spotted this dismasted cat and changed course to investigate. Two crew were visible in the aft cockpit and they were powering along under no duress. Further research has shown it to be Steve Fosset’s entry in Oryx Quest 2005, Cheyenne, which was dismasted in heavy seas off the east coast of Argentina. Apparently, they we in the process of delivering the boat back to the US.
