Sailing Dinghy progress update
Mock up of new mast base, Reinforcing rib and side seats nearing completion.
New carbon fiber composite side seats will be enclosed to create large flotation tanks. Rowing oars 8' long will stow securely along side the seats when in sailing mode. In rowing mode, optimal trim will be achieved by utilizing movable seats.
Aft seat is also planned as a huge floation tank, facilitating self rescue.
